A three-year-old boy who was seriously injured after being thrown into a crocodile enclosure at a family-run zoo in Cambridgeshire is no longer in a critical condition, police have confirmed.
Incident at Johnsons of Old Hurst
The incident occurred on Thursday last week at Johnsons of Old Hurst in Huntingdon, a zoo located outside Cambridge. The young child was thrown approximately 15 feet into the crocodile pit, landing on concrete and sustaining a broken arm and pelvis. His family witnessed the attack.
Cambridgeshire Police arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder. He has since been released on bail pending further investigation.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police stated: 'The boy is no longer critical and is in a stable condition in hospital.' The update marks a significant improvement from his earlier critical state.
