The suspect appeared to maintain a YouTube channel under the name JessJessUwU, which has since been removed by the platform. A single post from approximately six months ago contained the message: "I've been pretty um, aimless. :P"
Family's Relationship with Firearms
Additional social media evidence includes a photograph from August 2021 showing Jesse holding what appears to be a rifle-type firearm, posted by their grandparents. The suspect's mother had previously promoted Jesse's YouTube channel, describing it as featuring content about "hunting, self reliance, guns and stuff he likes to do."
In a poignant contrast, the mother had expressed horror at gun violence in a September 2025 Instagram post following another shooting incident, writing: "Sheesh... I'm glad I'm not far right or far left. Political extremism blinded by rage is mental."
