A 19-year-old man died at the scene of a single-vehicle crash in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, early on Saturday morning. The driver was behind the wheel of a white BMW 218I, valued at £36,500, when it left the road on Windsor Road, in the direction of Stoke Poges.
Emergency response and investigation
Thames Valley Police received reports of the collision at 2.50am on Saturday, October 10, and officers attended the scene. Emergency services pronounced the driver dead at the location. His next of kin have been informed.
The vehicle was travelling along Windsor Road when it came off the road. Police have not disclosed details of any other vehicles involved, and no further injuries have been reported.
Police appeal for witnesses
Investigating officer PC Daniel Morris is appealing for anyone with information to come forward. He said: “I am appealing to anyone with information or footage to contact Thames Valley Police.
“I’m particularly keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle prior to the collision.”
