Adult entry to Kew Gardens will cost just £10 every Tuesday from September 8 to December 29, a reduction of more than half off the standard £25 ticket price. The discount applies to the UK’s largest botanical gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that attracts over 2.5 million visitors annually.
Autumn Discounts and Seasonal Highlights
The new Tuesday concession aims to make the gardens more accessible during the autumn months. Visitors can expect the Arboretum’s leaves to change colour across its collection of more than 11,000 trees. The Treetop Walkway offers an elevated view of the seasonal display, and the chestnut-leaved oak, the largest tree at Kew, remains a key attraction.
Richard Deverell, Director of RBG Kew, said: “I’m delighted that we’re able to offer £10 entry to Kew Gardens every Tuesday throughout this autumn, and I hope that this new concession will allow visitors to benefit from being out in nature and having access to our wonderful Gardens.”
Exhibitions and Family Activities
The discount period coincides with the Henry Moore: Monumental Nature exhibition, the largest-ever outdoor showcase of Moore’s work. More than 30 pieces, from massive sculptures to smaller works, are on display throughout the gardens.
Families with young children can take part in the Hey Duggee trail during October, which includes interactive challenges and a stamp trail. The activity offers a low-cost option for half-term outings.
Booking and Availability
Tickets can be booked online or purchased at the gate. The £10 price applies only on Tuesdays during the promotional period, offering a significant saving for those planning a day out in London.
