Lewis Capaldi BST Hyde Park 2026: Full Guide

Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi will headline BST Hyde Park on Saturday, July 11, and Sunday, July 12, 2026, with both nights completely sold out. The double-header marks the grand finale of this year's BST Hyde Park series, featuring an impressive lineup of support acts including Conan Gray and Jacob Alon.

Who is Lewis Capaldi?

Born in Glasgow in October 1996, Capaldi grew up in Whitburn, West Lothian. He began performing in local pubs, often smuggled in by his older brother, and uploaded bedroom-recorded songs to Soundcloud, catching the attention of US manager Ryan Walter. His debut single 'Bruises', released independently in March 2017, amassed 25 million downloads on Spotify—a record for an unsigned artist. He quickly signed with Universal Music Group and supported Rag'n'Bone Man, Jake Bugg, Niall Horan, and Sam Smith. His 2018 EP 'Breach' featured singles 'Touch', 'Someone You Loved', and 'Grace'. While on tour with Bastille, 'Someone You Loved' reached number one in the UK singles chart, staying there for seven weeks, and topped the US Billboard Hot 100—making Capaldi the first Scottish artist to do so since Sheena Easton. His debut album 'Divinely Uninspired To A Heavenly Extent' spent five weeks at number one and became the biggest-selling UK album in five years.
