In a major announcement for music enthusiasts, pop icon Harry Styles has revealed the full lineup for the 2026 edition of the Meltdown festival, which he is curating at London's prestigious Southbank Centre. The second weekend starts strong with The Maccabees frontman Orlando Weeks' solo show at the Royal Festival Hall on Friday, June 19, and the Devonté Hynes Ensemble, led by Dev Hynes (Blood Orange), debuting new experimental compositions at the same venue.
Saturday, June 20, includes performances by south London jazz drummer Yusuf Dayes at the Royal Festival Hall and ambient DJ Jon Hopkins with instrumentalists Maddie Ashman and Leo Abrahams at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. The festival closes with an unmissable late-night set by LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy at the Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer.
Beyond the Music: Free Events and Family Activities
In addition to the ticketed concerts and club nights, Meltdown 2026 will offer a variety of free outdoor performances, family-friendly activities, and hands-on workshops. These events will feature some of Styles' favorite artists from beyond the music world, enhancing the festival experience for all attendees.
Harry Styles expressed his enthusiasm for the lineup, stating, 'Music is my life, every artist involved in this year's Meltdown festival means so much to me, both as a fan and a musician. It's a true honour to host legends who have paved the way for the generations that follow them, as well as new acts that have inspired me to push my creative boundaries. There are some incredibly unique, one-of-a-kind performances planned, and the Southbank Centre is such a special place to experience live music. I hope attendees and performers have an unforgettable time this year at Meltdown. I can't wait!'
