Grand Prize Winner Announced

The 19th annual iPhone Photography Awards (IPPAWARDS) have announced their winners, celebrating photographers who use the camera in their pocket. The grand prize was awarded to Robyn Jensen for her photograph taken in Yepocapa, Chimaltenango, Guatemala. The competition received thousands of entries from around the world, showcasing intimate portraits, quiet landscapes, and abstract studies of light, form, and colour.

Category Winners

First place in the animals category went to Peter Crome, while Barry Mayes took second place and 博宇 温 动物 earned third. In the lifestyle category, Bertram Greenhough won first place, followed by Sara Camporesi in second and Shuo Chen in third. For architecture, Ziwen Chen secured first place, Ellen Kim took second for a photo in Golden, New Mexico, and Preethy Ganesan earned third in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi.

Krystal Rountree won first place in the children category, with Justas Petkevicius in second and Thea Mihu in third. In nature, Tianjiao Zhang took first, 李阳 second, and Paul Kitcatt third. The people category saw Jenny Dang in first, Iryna Nemyrovych in second, and Ioan Maga in third. For cityscape, Adrian Beasley won first, Yue Yu second, and Ha Yun Song third for a photo in Hat Yai, Thailand.

Portrait and Abstract Winners

Brice Picard won first place in the portrait category for "To Go Up in Smoke," with Carlos Rubin in second and Alexey Lazarenko in third for a photo in Jakarta, Indonesia. In abstract, Barry Mayes took first, Leland Smith second, and Jo Borzsony third. For landscape, Anthony Ginns won first in Camperdown, Victoria, Australia, Stewart Manning second in Goblin Valley State Park, Utah, and Joseph Cyr third.

Other Categories

The competition also included categories for children and people, with first place in children going to Krystal Rountree, and first place in people to Jenny Dang.
