Woman times hour-long queue for viral Caesar salad wrap

A woman who managed to get her hands on a viral Caesar salad wrap from CZER in London documented her queuing experience, revealing it took her one hour and 10 minutes to secure the food. Angelina, a TikTok food reviewer, arrived at the Mayfair Food Fayre convenience store at 10:30 am on a Sunday, half an hour before the 11 am opening, only to find a line already waiting.

Queue experience and timing

Angelina started her timer at 10:55 am, noting the queue moved steadily. Staff offered Dubai chocolate and energy drinks to waiting customers. She said: “I feel like if you ever want a chance to get one of these wraps, you actually have to come in early. Apparently, they also only give out 250 a day. On a plus note, though, we were actually very well looked after.”

After an hour, she entered the shop and chose salt and vinegar McCoys crisps to be crushed into her wrap. The total cost was £14.25. In a follow-up video, she taste-tested the wrap, calling it “so good” and rating it 9.2 out of 10, adding: “The only thing I can fault is that I queued for an hour for it. But was it worth it? I feel like yeah.”

Public reaction divided

Commenters on her TikTok videos were split. One said: “To be fair, that wrap looks good and I'm not even a massive fan of Caesar salad.” Another added: “I might have to travel to London just for this.” However, a third disagreed: “Absolutely no way I'd wait one hour in line.”

The wrap’s popularity stems from its LA and New York deli-style chopped salad concept, with customers able to add crushed crisps for crunch. CZER limits daily sales to 250 wraps, contributing to the long queues.
