Dumbo, the Parisian smash burger brand praised by Time Out as one of London's best, is expanding with a second location in Soho. The new restaurant will open at 37 Berwick Street, W1F 8RS, late summer 2026, following the success of its first UK outlet in Shoreditch, which opened last summer.
Menu and Signature Offerings
The Soho branch will serve the same menu as the Bethnal Green Road location, featuring double patty smash burgers with dry-aged beef, American cheese, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Dumbo also offers a vegetarian 'Earth burger', fries, and nuggets. Time Out previously praised the 'perfect charred lacy crust on the edges of super succulent dry-aged beef' and ranked Dumbo number one in its top burgers in London list last year.
Expansion and Popularity
Founded in 2019 in Paris's Pigalle district, Dumbo now operates multiple outlets in Paris, one in Milan, and the upcoming Soho location. The Shoreditch branch has seen long queues, prompting the expansion. According to Leonie Cooper, Food & Drink Editor at Time Out London, 'the last few times we’ve swung by the east London location, the queue has been epic.'
