Tasca Returns to Shoreditch

One of 2025's most acclaimed pop-ups, Tasca, is making a comeback at Project 44 in Shoreditch. Head chef Josh Dallaway and sommelier Sinead Murdoch will serve Portuguese and Spanish-inspired dishes including Cornish crab on requeijão cheese, Dexter beef tartare al pilpil, and mussel and chorizo rice. The residency runs every Wednesday to Saturday evening from July 29 at 44 Rivington Street, EC2A 3QP.

Bancone Opens Sixth Location in Bloomsbury

Pasta specialist Bancone will launch its sixth London restaurant inside the newly refurbished Imperial hotel on Russell Square on August 17. The venue seats 140 diners and includes a 60-person terrace. Whippies Brings Ice Cream Paradise to Covent Garden

It's Bagels Expands to Hampstead

New York-style bagel chain It's Bagels, founded by Dan Martensen, will open its fourth London location at 60 Hampstead High Street, NW3 1QH, in August. An exact date hasn't been announced, but the shop will host a back-to-school party where every child receives a free bagel.

Superette Opens in Highgate

Fancy food retailer Superette opens its third store at 43 Highgate High Street, N6 5JX, on July 30. The shop stocks brands like Natoora, Ortiz, Whitebox, Dusty Knuckle, and St John, and includes an eat-in cafe counter serving cheese and kimchi toasties and coffee.
