London Dominates Good Food Guide 2026 Top 100

The Good Food Guide has released its top 100 local restaurants for 2026, with 11 London venues making the list. For the first time, the guide ranks entries in order, highlighting a shift toward micro restaurants and multi-strand business models amid rising hospitality costs.

According to the guide, 10% of entrants seat 20 or fewer guests, while over 25% rely on additional income from delis, wine shops, or cafes. Many of the London honorees double as daytime cafes and delicatessens, with few having appeared in national listings before.

London's Highest Entry: Gina in Chingford

Gina, a chophouse-style restaurant in Chingford, secured the number 4 spot. Run by TV chef Ravneet Gill and her husband Mattie Taiano, it opened on Station Road on June 11, 2025. The restaurant earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2026 for its comforting European meat and fish dishes.
