The eye-catching installation has been set up at Waterloo Station, one of London's busiest transport hubs, as well as at Manchester Piccadilly. While the tree itself is the right way up, its theme is firmly rooted in the Netflix show's alternate dimension. Commuters can admire Hawkins-themed baubles and ornaments that decorate the tree, creating a uniquely '80s and paranormal festive display.
This surprise appearance is part of a major promotional push for the hotly-anticipated final season of Stranger Things, which is scheduled to begin on Thursday, November 28, 2025.
Tune Into The '80s With The Squawk
For fans wanting a deeper immersion, a real-life version of the show's WSQK 'The Squawk' radio station is now broadcasting. It will play a non-stop stream of '80s tunes night and day until January 1.
