Katie Price Ends Pregnancy Speculation After Weeks of Social Media Teasing
Katie Price has officially confirmed she is not pregnant with her sixth child, putting an end to weeks of speculation that she generated through a series of suggestive social media posts with her new husband, Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews. The former glamour model, 47, had recently declared she was "having Lee Andrews' baby" in online posts, but has now clarified the situation publicly.
From Engagement to Pregnancy Claims
Price's whirlwind romance with Andrews, 41, began just last month when she announced both their engagement and wedding, leaving some family members reportedly "blindsided" by the sudden development. Despite warnings from some of Andrews' ex-partners urging Price to "run for the hills," the couple has continued to share their relationship journey publicly.
Just four weeks into their relationship, both Price and Andrews began dropping strong hints about a potential pregnancy. Price posted on social media: "Please just enjoy watching us build our empire as I'm having his child. I'll enjoy the ride and big d**k energy now I'm in the saddle." Andrews reinforced this narrative by describing them as a "perfect couple soon to be triple" in his own post.
The Pregnancy Test Tease and Final Clarification
The speculation reached its peak when Price attempted to monetize the pregnancy rumors by encouraging subscribers to pay £2.99 to see the results of a pregnancy test she had photographed herself holding. "Hey guys so all the speculation, if you want to know the truth, subscribe and you'll see the answer," she initially told followers.
However, just one day later, Price decided to share the answer publicly without requiring payment. In a video clip, she stated clearly: "So everyone, do you want to know the answer? Here's the answer. No, I'm not pregnant – but one day I will be." She added, "Hopefully that clears all the speculation up. Just because we say we'll have kids, [it's because] one day I will," before concluding definitively: "There's your answer...not pregnant."
Family Dynamics and Ongoing Feuds
This is Price's fourth marriage, following previous unions with Peter Andre, Alex Reid, and Kieran Hayler. She is mother to five children, including Harvey, who lives in supported care, and Princess and Junior, whom she co-parents with their father Peter Andre.
During the same period as the pregnancy speculation, Price has been engaged in a public feud with Andrews' ex-partner Alana Percival. In social media posts directed at Percival, Price declared: "@larnaapercival I know rejection doesn't feel nice and I'm married to @wesleeeandrews the man you want and will never have again." She continued with aggressive language, calling Percival "bitter" and telling her to "disappear under that bridge you irrelevant little troll."
Timing Concerns and Family Impact
Some sources have suggested that Price's pregnancy claims may have been timed to overshadow her daughter Princess Andre's promotional activities for the second season of her reality show, The Princess Diaries. A source told The Sun: "Yet again, Katie has to post a series of attention seeking pics on social media – the pregnancy test this morning, all of the wedding stuff – and it's terrible timing."
The source added: "Princess and Junior are doing interviews and instead of talking about the TV show they have to talk about Katie and her antics. Nobody understands why Katie can't just take a step back and let Princess have the spotlight for just a week ahead of her show launch."
Future Family Plans
Despite the current confirmation that she is not pregnant, Price has expressed a strong desire to expand her family in the future. During a stage appearance with friend Kerry Katona last September, shortly before splitting from then-partner JJ Slater, Price revealed: "I'm going through it. I had a blood test – so I still want more kids – but my eggs are f***ed now to cut a long story short, it happens to all of us."
She explained further: "Just because your eggs are old and they won't really give you, like, a baby. I can still carry a baby, so there's still ways that I can have babies and I will have more." Price concluded emphatically: "I'll have as many as I can still, and I will, so you've heard it, I'm gonna have lots of babies."
