In a dramatic turn of events set to rock Chester, Lucas Hay's behaviour spirals dangerously out of control in upcoming Hollyoaks episodes, leaving his loved ones convinced he's become Frankie Osborne's tormentor.
The Stalking Accusation That Shakes the Village
The tension begins when Frankie discovers that her abuser JJ has died, only to start receiving disturbing text messages from an account pretending to be him. The Price Slice employee's concern turns to outright terror when she and friend Vicky Grant realise they're being watched in the park.
In a shocking confrontation, the pair apprehend the hooded figure - and discover it's Lucas. Frankie and Vicky immediately believe they've uncovered her harasser, setting in motion a chain of events that will have devastating consequences for everyone involved.
Lucas's Desperate Bid to Win Back Dillon
As viewers know, Lucas has been struggling to cope since his split from Dillon Ray, who ended their relationship because of secret feelings for Lucas's father, Ste Hay. While Ste initially denied any attraction to Dillon, the pair have since shared a kiss and slept together, committing a devastating betrayal that Lucas remains completely unaware of.
Blissfully ignorant of the romance between his ex and his father, Lucas remains determined to win Dillon back, resorting to increasingly extreme methods including using a cloning app on Dillon's phone. Next week, his efforts reach alarming new heights as he's forced to defend himself against the stalking allegations.
Village Drama Beyond the Stalking Plot
Meanwhile, other residents face their own challenges. Cleo receives news that her baby is well enough to return home, though doctors advise keeping the infant in hospital a while longer. Suspicious of Sienna's intentions, Cleo finds support from an unexpected source as Sienna and Prince use their own experiences of being separated from children to help her grasp reality.
Elsewhere in the village, Darren prepares to say goodbye to JJ while Theresa seeks Warren's help. Mercedes continues to spiral amid her relapse, and Tony returns home. Dodger finds comfort in family support while work issues persist, and becomes concerned when Frankie confides in him about the mysterious messages and her relationship with Sully.
As Vicky tries to distract Frankie from her troubles by taking her out, their eyes soon turn to a local DJ as they ditch The Loft for pizza. Charlie checks in on his sister, showing family concern amidst the growing tension.
A Confrontation Looms as Tensions Peak
The situation reaches breaking point as Dillon grows increasingly scared of what Lucas might be capable of. Despite Ste's pleas not to involve police - worried his son could face prison - Dillon resolves to confront his ex directly after becoming overwhelmed by Lucas's persistent messages.
This confrontation promises to be explosive, with Lucas's desperate efforts to win back Dillon spiralling completely out of control in what insiders describe as a shocking turn of events. The big question remains: just how far will Lucas go, and what will be the consequences of his actions?
Actor Oscar Curtis, who plays Lucas, recently hinted at the challenges ahead, telling Metro: 'I think it would be hard for any characters to come back from something like this. But whatever happens it will be fun and I think we'll have fun filming it.'
