The Guardian is inviting readers to share their favourite food festivals in Europe, including the UK, for a chance to win a £200 voucher towards a Coolstays break. Enjoying local produce is one of the great pleasures of travel, and a trip that coincides with a food festival is a win-win. The best tip, chosen by Tom Hall of Lonely Planet, will receive a £200 voucher to stay at a Coolstays property, which offers more than 3,000 properties worldwide.
How to Enter
Readers are encouraged to share tips about foodie festivals they have discovered on holiday in Europe or the UK. These can range from tiny village affairs to well-established events that draw the crowds. The tip should include where you went, what you ate, and why it was so good. Keep your tip to about 100 words. If you have a relevant photo, you may send it in, but the judging will be based on your words.
Competition Details
The competition is open to UK residents only for legal reasons. It closes on Monday 13 July at 10am BST. The best tips will appear in the Guardian Travel section and website. Past winners and other tips can be viewed online. Full terms and conditions are available on the Guardian website.
