Love Island's newest Islander Jasmine Muller has broken her silence on her split from former Arsenal star Hector Bellerin. The fashion entrepreneur, who will enter the ITV villa on Monday (June 1), previously enjoyed WAG status during her relationship with the Spanish footballer.
Jasmine's Past with Hector Bellerin
The couple reportedly dated in 2021, and fans have unearthed loved-up snaps of the pair ahead of Jasmine's villa appearance. Despite the end of their romance, Jasmine insists there is no bad blood between them. Reflecting on the split, she told MyLondon and other publications: "I have a lot of time for him. I think we left things on really good terms. There's not really any drama or anything interesting to say about it because we both just have a lot of love for each other."
Social Media Connection
The former couple continue to follow each other on Instagram, despite having gone their separate ways "a long time ago." Jasmine acknowledged that her experience dating a celebrity has prepared her for life in the public eye, but noted it is just one of several factors. "It's so long ago now that I don't think about it on a day-to-day basis, but I'm sure that having lived that at such a young age has obviously prepared me. As have other things, I've been in the public eye with an online job since I was like 19," she said.
Love Island Series 13
Jasmine is not the only 2026 Islander with notable connections; the series also includes a 21-year-old with ties to a prominent political family. Love Island Series 13 begins at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX on June 1.
