Clothing retailer Quiz has confirmed it will shut down its remaining 37 stores after entering administration earlier this year. The Glasgow-founded chain, which owed over £40 million, appointed administrator Interpath at the start of 2026. Three stores in Belfast, Leeds, and Romford have already closed, and 109 staff at the head office and distribution centre have been made redundant.
Phased Closure Programme
In an update issued over the weekend, Interpath announced that the remaining 37 stores will close by June 2026 as part of a phased closure programme. It remains unclear whether Quiz’s concessions in Ireland are affected.

Alistair McAlinden, head of Interpath in Scotland, encouraged shoppers to visit stores during the May bank holiday weekend as the closing down sale begins. Interpath managing director Geoff Jacobs thanked Quiz staff for their dedication and professionalism during this difficult period.
