Toad Bakery Expanding to Deptford with Second London Location
Toad Bakery Opening Second Location in Deptford This June

Camberwell's celebrated Toad Bakery is set to open a second location in Deptford this June, expanding its reach beyond its cult-followed original site on Peckham Road.

A Beloved Bakery Expands

The bakery, known for its impeccably laminated pastries including cornbread croissants and chocolatines, has earned a reputation as one of London's finest. It was named London Bakery of the Year at the 2025 National Bakery Awards and has been praised by the Good Food Guide and top chefs.

What to Expect at the New Site

The new bakehouse will be located in St Paul's House on Deptford High Street, significantly larger than the original Camberwell spot. This extra space will allow for more pastry innovation and an open-plan kitchen where customers can watch the bakers at work. A new espresso machine will also be installed.
