RU5H, a sex-progressive, kink-positive travel brand for gay and male-identifying guests, is set to launch its first-ever cruise, departing October 2, 2026, from Palm Beach, Florida, to the Bahamas. Tickets start at $397 (£293) per person for Interior Quad Staterooms, with the ship returning on October 5. The cruise promises nonstop parties, world-renowned DJs, and appearances by gay adult entertainers, positioning itself as 'the biggest queer party festival at sea.'
What to Expect Onboard
The cruise is designed for gay, bi, and pan men, as well as male-identifying adventurers seeking more than a traditional holiday. Patrick Gunn, co-founder and CMO of RU5H, told Out Magazine that he wanted to 'bring together the energy of the world’s most exciting queer festivals, nightlife destinations, and lifestyle communities and combine it with the comfort, hospitality, and ease of a full-ship cruise.'
Guests can transition from daytime pool gatherings to late-night parties. The itinerary includes themed events, meetups, and curated Experience Zones where passengers can engage in role-play or consensual fantasies. DJs from major queer nightlife scenes—including New York, Los Angeles, Austin, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Fire Island—will keep the music going around the clock.
Consent and Dress Code
Consent is a core principle, with designated clothing-optional upper decks for guests to relax freely. RU5H emphasizes mutual respect and zero judgment, focusing on freedom rather than pressure. However, the ship, named Paradise and owned by Margaritaville at Sea, enforces a dress code in dining areas: swimsuits, bikinis, and bare chests are strictly not permitted at dinner.
Pricing and Booking
Ticket prices vary by accommodation type: Interior Quad Staterooms start at $397 (£293), Interior Staterooms at $697 (£515), and Solo Staterooms at $997 (£737) per person. The cruise includes accommodation and access to a 24/7 musical festival. RU5H announced the cruise at last year’s Folsom Street Fair, the world’s largest leather and fetish gathering, and is now finalizing the itinerary ahead of the October departure.
