Summer is approaching, and Londoners are seeking the best al fresco dining and drinking spots. Among the city's many green spaces, one of the most exclusive secret gardens is reopening to the public. The Secret Garden at The Ritz, often hailed as one of the world's most luxurious hotels, will welcome guests again from June 8, 2026.
Location and Access
The Secret Garden is located at The Ritz hotel in London. Access is through the Arlington Street entrance, and it is open to all, not just hotel guests. However, a strict dress code applies: smart casual attire is required, and shorts, ripped jeans, trainers, and sportswear are not permitted in any of the hotel's restaurants or bars.
Garden Features
The garden is described as an ethereal mix of flowers and grasses, including hydrangeas and white wisteria. It features a water feature, ample seating with parasols and canopies, and cashmere throws from Johnstons of Elgin for cooler evenings. Designed by Marcus Barnett Studio and David Collins Studio, it is inspired by quintessential English gardens.
Menu and Entertainment
The garden offers a menu of cocktails, Champagne, and wines, including the new Ritz 120 cocktail celebrating the hotel's 120th anniversary. Small plates, sandwiches, meat and fish dishes, and desserts are available, such as Dorset Crab Brioche Roll and Red Mullet with Ratatouille. Live entertainment is scheduled Thursday and Friday evenings, all day Saturday, and Sunday lunch. Reservations are available daily from 11am to 11pm, but prices are high, with cocktails starting from £25.
