Gordon Ramsay, the globally renowned British chef, is set to achieve a significant milestone with the opening of his 100th restaurant. The new establishment, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar, will be located on the 59th floor of 22 Bishopsgate, one of London's tallest skyscrapers, and is scheduled to welcome diners starting May 6, 2026.
A Culinary Empire Expands
Since launching Gordon Ramsay Restaurants in 1997, Ramsay has built a vast culinary empire with locations spanning from London to Singapore, South Korea, France, and the United States. Over the years, his restaurants have been awarded 17 Michelin stars, with eight currently held. Notably, the 12-seater Gordon Ramsay High recently earned its first star in the 2026 Michelin Guide.
Prime Location and Features
Bread Street Kitchen & Bar at 22 Bishopsgate joins other Ramsay venues in the tower, including the Asian-inspired Lucky Cat, Gordon Ramsay High, and the Gordon Ramsay Academy, which is Europe's highest cookery school. The new restaurant marks the 15th anniversary of the Bread Street Kitchen & Bar brand and offers an all-day dining experience starting at 6:30 AM on weekdays.
The menu has been expanded with 35 additional dishes and introduces the brand's first-ever five-course tasting menu. Highlights include lobster benedict, Galician T-bone steak, and Meyer lemon cheesecake. The kitchen will be overseen by former Claridge's chef Kamarl John, who has collaborated closely with Ramsay for many years.
Enhanced Nightlife and Amenities
In addition to its culinary offerings, the venue will feature a late-night scene with DJ sets on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, keeping doors open until 3 AM. It will also house a sports bar with a 24-hour license, ideal for events like World Cup matches. Afternoon tea will be served seven days a week, adding to the diverse dining options.
This opening is expected to boost the City of London's late-night economy and provide a new destination for food enthusiasts and nightlife seekers alike.
