Eight London Pubs Shortlisted for Prestigious UK National Pub & Bar Awards
The highly anticipated National Pub & Bar Awards have officially unveiled their shortlist for the best pubs across the United Kingdom, and London is proudly represented with eight exceptional establishments making the cut. This prestigious event, now celebrating its landmark 10th anniversary, will return to London on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, to honor 94 county winners and crown the ultimate national champion.
London's Finest Pubs in the Spotlight
Among the distinguished list, three pubs are located within the historic City of London, while the remaining five are spread across the vibrant Greater London area. These highly commended venues have earned an invitation to the summer grand final, where the 2026 County Winners, Regional Winners, and the coveted National Pub & Bar of the Year will be revealed in a celebratory ceremony.
The 94 County Winners will be announced live during the event, with highly commended pubs from each region receiving special certificates in recognition of their outstanding quality and service. The awards, generously sponsored by Tyrrells, evaluate multiple facets of the customer experience, including design, service, style of offer, marketing efforts, and recent investments.
Industry Recognition and Additional Honors
Tristan O’Hana, editor of Pub & Bar magazine, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming awards, stating, "Our bigger and better format that debuted in 2025 was such a success, we can’t wait to roll it out again this year." He added, "The fact that the celebrations last from the long Easter weekend, when we celebrate this year’s County Nominees, right up until the awards night at the beginning of summer is no less than this wonderful industry deserves. We just want to do what we can to spread the word about these brilliant businesses."
In addition to the main categories, the awards night will feature several special honors, such as the Industry’s Choice Award, Pub Group of the Year, Bar Group of the Year, and The Tyrrells Tyrrellbly Good Taste Award, further highlighting excellence across the hospitality sector.
