A Star Wars-themed mega-yacht inspired by Darth Vader's Imperial Star Destroyer is seeking a real-life villain to commission its construction. The 492-foot vessel, designed by British studio ThirtyC, mirrors the spacecraft's distinctive wedge shape with sharp angular lines extending from bow to stern.
Design Inspiration
Studio founder Rob Armstrong, a Star Wars enthusiast, led the design. Although currently a concept, the creators insist it could become a functioning yacht. Large glass panels replace conventional materials, offering expansive sea views and a sci-fi aesthetic—perfect for chasing Rebel Alliance-affiliated jellyfish or Yoda-like sea creatures.
Interior and Features
Interior details remain limited, but the concept includes accommodation for numerous guests, crew, or Stormtroopers. The captain's quarters sit high on the bridge deck, while a concealed hangar houses tenders and Jet Skis. This unveiling continues ThirtyC's tradition of blending luxury yacht design with iconic sci-fi franchises.
The gigayacht now awaits a real-life Darth Vader or Emperor Palpatine to bring it to life.
