A 47-year-old nursery teacher from Hampshire has seen her life transformed after a stunning victory in an online competition. Sharon Hoskins, from Gosport, found herself the winner of a £130,000 Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 and a £20,000 cash prize, all from a £3.15 entry fee.
The Moment of Surprise
The life-changing moment unfolded while Sharon was at work. Presenter Christian Williams from dream car giveaway company BOTB arrived to surprise her with the bright orange supercar parked nearby. "You're joking me!" Sharon exclaimed. "I'm absolutely gobsmacked."
The mother-of-two, who had only been playing BOTB's spot the ball competition for six months, described the entire experience as surreal. "The day was a blur, but it was an amazing experience," she said. "I've seen a couple of videos of other people winning, but you think it's never going to happen to you."
Supercar Dreams and Practical Realities
Sharon got to experience the thrill of sitting in the driver's seat and starting the engine of the luxury sports car, which boasts a top speed of over 200mph. However, she admitted: "It feels amazing, but I'm not sure what my neighbours are going to say when I pull up in this."
The surprises continued when Christian revealed her additional £20,000 cash prize. "I feel incredible and don't need to work now," Sharon joked about her £3.15 investment that turned into a £150,000 windfall.
Despite instantly falling in love with the Lamborghini, the practical nursery teacher is considering taking the cash alternative. "I would have loved the car, but it's not practical," she explained.
