Burglars Target Maya Jama and Ruben Dias' £4m Cheshire Mansion
Maya Jama and Ruben Dias' Home Burglarised

Television personality Maya Jama and Manchester City defender Ruben Dias have endured a deeply distressing experience after their luxurious Cheshire home was targeted by burglars earlier this week. The couple, who have been in a relationship since late 2024, were both away from the property during the incident, leaving their £4 million mansion vulnerable to intrusion.

A Devastating Discovery

Ruben Dias, 28, returned to the couple's residence in Alderley Edge to find that thieves had broken in and stolen thousands of pounds worth of valuable items. The burglary occurred on Wednesday evening, with police receiving reports shortly after 11:10pm on January 28th. Officers attending the scene on Woodbrook Road confirmed that forced entry had been made and numerous possessions were missing from the substantial 6,300 square foot property.

What Was Stolen?

The stolen goods reportedly include:

  • Designer clothing and accessories
  • Precious jewellery pieces
  • High-value electronic devices

The four-bedroom mansion, which features an indoor leisure suite and beautifully landscaped gardens, also boasts a security system that was apparently circumvented by the perpetrators.

Couple's Whereabouts During the Burglary

Both Jama and Dias were travelling for work commitments when the break-in occurred. The 31-year-old Love Island presenter was in South Africa filming the All Stars edition of the popular reality show, while her footballer partner was in Turkey playing an away match against Galatasaray for Manchester City.

A source close to the couple revealed their emotional state following the violation of their personal space: 'They are devastated. The house is the first they have moved into as a couple and is very special to them. Thankfully, neither was at home, but they are very upset that their personal space has been invaded.'

A Special First Home Together

The property holds particular significance for the couple, who moved in together just last November. Previously, Jama had been commuting between Ruben's London flat and her own accommodations, making this Cheshire mansion their first proper shared home.

'Maya was very proud to move into her first home with Ruben and took lots of videos and pictures while in the house, which she posted on her social media,' the insider added, highlighting how meaningful the residence had become to them.

Property Details and Police Investigation

The luxurious mansion is actually a prize-draw property won by a woman named Emily Ward through the Omaze competition platform. Jama and Dias are reportedly renting the substantial home for approximately £20,000 per month while enjoying its premium amenities.

Cheshire Police have confirmed that enquiries into the burglary are ongoing. A spokesperson stated: 'Officers attended and found entry had been made to the property and a number of items had been stolen. Enquiries are currently ongoing, and anyone with any information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or through the website.'

Keeping Their Relationship Private

The couple have generally maintained a low profile regarding their romance, choosing not to make official red carpet appearances together but instead sharing selective moments on social media platforms. In a recent interview with The Telegraph, Dias addressed the public attention surrounding their relationship: 'We are just both aware of it, and there's no way around it. But at the end of the day, you don't make it about it. You make it about everything else, and then that's an extra you have to deal with and, obviously, be smart with it.'

Representatives for both Maya Jama and Ruben Dias have been approached for comment regarding the distressing burglary incident at their Cheshire home.
