UK car finance broker Carplus has appointed a new senior leader to steer its expansion plans. The company has named Gemma Beckett as its new Operations Director, a move announced on 14th January 2026.

Gemma Beckett brings a wealth of industry knowledge to her new position at Carplus. She possesses more than eight years of experience in the motor finance sector. Her most recent role was as Head of Sales and Operations at the prominent online platform CarFinance 247. There, she was responsible for managing operational teams and overseeing key business functions.
Her appointment is a direct response to Carplus's ambitious growth strategy. As customer demand increases and the market becomes more competitive, the company recognises the need for strong operational leadership to scale effectively while maintaining service quality.
Key Responsibilities and Vision
In her role as Operations Director, Beckett will have oversight of all operational aspects of the business. Her primary objectives will include managing customer service processes, strengthening relationships with Carplus's extensive network of lenders, and optimising internal systems.
She is also tasked with implementing new technologies and processes designed to improve the overall customer experience. This operational overhaul is intended to support the firm's wider expansion plans across the United Kingdom.
