London Underground and TfL Line Closures June 2026

Transport for London (TfL) has warned of temporary closures on 12 lines across the capital in June 2026. Maintenance and upgrades will affect almost every Underground and Overground line, with most work scheduled on weekends.

District Line Disruptions

District line passengers face the most disruption, with services paused seven times throughout the month. This includes trains stopping at 2pm in various areas on Saturday, June 13, and then entirely the following day.

Specific Closures

  • Saturday, June 6 - Sunday, June 7: No service from Turnham Green to Ealing Broadway
  • Saturday, June 13: No service on the entire line until 10.30am
  • Saturday, June 13: No service from Edgware Road/Embankment to Ealing Broadway/Kensington (Olympia)/Richmond and Wimbledon until 2pm
  • Saturday, June 13 - Sunday, June 14: No service from Barons Court to Stamford Brook after 2pm on Saturday and all day Sunday
  • Saturday, June 13 - Sunday, June 14: No service from Earl's Court to Kensington (Olympia) after 2pm on Saturday and all day Sunday
  • Saturday, June 13 - Sunday, June 14: No service from Fulham Broadway to Wimbledon after 2pm on Saturday and all day Sunday
  • Saturday, June 27 - Sunday, June 28: No service from Turnham Green to Ealing Broadway

Piccadilly Line Closures

TfL previously confirmed sections of the Piccadilly line are being closed in the second half of 2026 ahead of new Tube trains from December.

  • Saturday, June 6 - Sunday, June 7: No service from Hammersmith to Heathrow/Uxbridge, including during Friday and Saturday Night Tube
  • Friday, June 12 - Saturday, June 13: No service on the entire line during Friday Night Tube
  • Saturday, June 13: No service from Hyde Park Corner to Acton Town until 2pm
  • Saturday, June 20 - Sunday, June 21: No service from Cockfosters to Uxbridge, including during Friday and Saturday Night Tube
  • Friday, June 26 - Saturday, June 27: No service from King's Cross St Pancras to Heathrow during Friday Night Tube only
  • Saturday, June 27 - Sunday, June 28: No service from King's Cross St Pancras to Northfields/Uxbridge, including during Saturday Night Tube

Other Underground Lines

Circle line: Saturday, June 13: No service on the entire line until 10.30am; No service from Edgware Road to Tower Hill, via Victoria, until 2pm.

Hammersmith & City line: Saturday, June 13: No service on the entire line until 10.30am.

Metropolitan line: Saturday, June 13: No service from Aldgate to Harrow-on-the-Hill until 10.30am.

The Victoria, Bakerloo, Jubilee and Northern lines are each running as usual in June.

London Overground Closures

Lioness line: Sunday, June 7: No service from Euston to Kilburn High Road until midday and after 8.30pm.

Mildmay line: Multiple closures from June 7 to July 3, including no service from Willesden Junction to Clapham Junction on June 7, and various evening closures.

Suffragette line: Sunday, June 28: No service from Barking to Barking Riverside; No service from Gospel Oak to Barking until 9.45am.

Weaver line: Sunday, June 7: No service on the entire line until 10.15am; Monday, June 8 - Thursday, June 11: No service from Hackney Downs to Enfield Town/Cheshunt after 10.45pm.

Windrush line: Various closures from June 15 to June 28.

DLR & Elizabeth Line Closures

DLR: Saturday, June 13 - Sunday, June 14: No service from Poplar to Beckton; Saturday, June 20: No service from Poplar to Beckton; Saturday, June 20: No service from Stratford International to Woolwich Arsenal; Sunday, June 21: No service from Tower Gateway to Shadwell.

Elizabeth line: Monday, June 1 - Wednesday, June 3: Trains will not stop at Acton Main Line, Hanwell and West Ealing after 10.30pm; Sunday, June 21: No service from Paddington to Abbey Wood; Sunday, June 21: No service from Whitechapel to Stratford; Saturday, June 27 - Sunday, June 28: No service from Prince Regent to Beckton; Monday, June 29 - Wednesday, July 1: Trains will not stop at Acton Main Line, Hanwell and West Ealing after 10.30pm.
