London Tube and Train Closures for Aug 15-16 2026

London's transport network will see planned service disruption this weekend, August 15-16 2026, affecting the District line, DLR, Elizabeth line and several London Overground services. According to Time Out's weekly travel guide, closures are scheduled across multiple lines, with alternative travel advice provided for affected passengers.

District Line and DLR Closures

On Sunday August 16, no trains will run between Turnham Green and Richmond on the District line. Westbound trains will not call at Barons Court until November, so passengers travelling west should go one stop east to West Kensington and then change trains for westbound services. The DLR will also have no service between Shadwell and Tower Gateway on the same day.

The Piccadilly line will also be affected, as westbound trains will not call at Barons Court until November. Passengers should travel one stop east to Earl's Court and change trains for westbound services.
