British Transport Police have released an image of a woman they want to speak to after an unprovoked assault on an Elizabeth line train from Heathrow Airport. The attack took place at approximately 10pm on Sunday, August 2, when the victim boarded the train at Heathrow and sat next to the woman pictured.

Unprovoked attack on Elizabeth line train

According to British Transport Police, the woman, without provocation, punched the victim in the head and kicked her. The suspect then got off the train at Southall railway station. Detectives believe the woman pictured may have information that could help their investigation.

The force has urged anyone who recognises her to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 702 of 2 August. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police appeal for information

In a statement, British Transport Police said: "Officers investigating an assault on an Elizabeth Line train from Heathrow have released this image in connection. Anyone who recognises her is asked to contact British Transport Police."

The incident occurred on Sunday, August 2, at around 10pm. The victim was sitting next to the suspect when the attack happened. The suspect left the train at Southall station after the assault.
