Traffic Disruption

The closure has caused significant congestion, with queues extending to East Sheen shops and back onto Roehampton Lane. Traffic is being diverted via Mortlake High Street from Chalkers Corner and across Barnes Common, leading to long delays on White Hart Lane due to the level crossing.

Bus Diversions

Three London bus routes are affected by the closure:

  • Route 33
  • Route 337
  • Route 493

These buses are currently on diversion, and passengers are advised to check for alternative routes or allow extra travel time.
