The world's most luxurious expedition yacht is set to dock in London for the first time this summer. Residents of Greenwich may catch a glimpse of the Scenic Eclipse II, a six-star discovery yacht equipped with two helicopters, a custom-built submersible, and butler service for every suite.
First launched in 2023, the vessel is renowned for blending expedition capabilities with the standards of a six-star private yacht experience. It will anchor in Greenwich on July 31 for a single night before continuing its journey to Hamburg.
Designed for Polar Exploration
The grand yacht is specifically designed for polar exploration in some of the most remote regions on Earth. Greenwich was chosen as a fitting mooring location due to its rich naval history.
The Scenic Eclipse II can accommodate up to 228 guests, though this number is reduced to 200 in polar regions. It boasts an almost 1:1 crew-to-guest ratio and provides butler service for every suite.
Luxury Accommodations and Amenities
Suites for the London to Hamburg voyage start from £4,495 per person, reflecting the yacht's status as one of only two ships in the world equipped with two helicopters and a custom-built submersible. Each suite includes butler service and a private verandah or terrace.
Onboard facilities include up to 10 culinary experiences, a 550-square-metre spa, wellness spaces, a Sky Bar, and a Vitality Pool. The culinary programme is overseen by acclaimed chef Tom Götter, who leads a team of 38 chefs from 15 countries, delivering globally inspired fine dining across the yacht's restaurants and private dining venues.
