Wenger Backs Arsenal to Win Premier League Title
Wenger Backs Arsenal for Premier League Title

Arsene Wenger, the former Arsenal manager who led the club to three Premier League titles including the unbeaten 2003/04 season, has backed the current Arsenal side to win the league this season. Speaking at a charity event for the Twinning Project, Wenger expressed his confidence in Mikel Arteta's squad despite their recent 2-1 defeat to Manchester City.

Wenger's Confidence in Arsenal

"I believe that Arsenal will win the league," said Wenger. "I deeply believe. It looks, to me, like common sense." He praised the attacking intent shown by Arsenal at the Etihad, singling out Martin Odegaard, Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, and Kai Havertz. "I like Eze, Odegaard, Havertz and Madueke attacking [intent at the Etihad]. Manchester City will not make the perfect run-in," he added.

Arsenal's Title Challenge

Arsenal face a must-win clash against Newcastle at the Emirates on Saturday, with the title race still wide open. Captain Martin Odegaard, who returned from injury against City, remains optimistic. "The title race is always going to be going all the way to the end, so we have to keep going, keep working hard, and stick together," Odegaard said. "We created a few big, big chances, so of course there are some positives to take. It's all to play for, and it's the best part of the season."
