A spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.51pm yesterday (September 30) to reports of a stabbing on Woolwich Road, Charlton, SE7. We sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance.”

The spokesperson added: “The first paramedic arrived in around five minutes. We treated a patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.” The rapid response highlights the severity of the incident, with a trauma team deployed from London’s Air Ambulance to provide advanced medical support at the scene.
