Hollyoaks: Cleo Confronts Sienna Over Medication Tampering in Tense Showdown
Hollyoaks: Cleo vs Sienna in Medication Tampering Showdown

Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) begins to ask questions in Hollyoaks next week as she uncovers that Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) has been tampering with her medication in a bid to maintain control over her. Sienna, as viewers know, has been determined to keep a lid on the fact that she pushed archenemy Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix) to her apparent death earlier this month.

When Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) began to question the narrative that Clare simply fell, Sienna pointed the finger at their daughter Sophie, urging her ex to keep quiet in order to protect their little girl. Much like Warren, Cleo had doubts aplenty about Sienna's claims over Clare and thus confronted her on the matter, with her other half claiming that it was Cleo herself who pushed Clare.

Cleo, who was diagnosed with postpartum psychosis earlier this year, has doubted every move she has made in recent months, with Sienna doing little to help the situation. Unsure what to believe, she ultimately accepted Sienna's version of events, believing that her girlfriend would never lie to her about something so serious.

Cleo Starts to Suspect Sienna

But for those of us who remember the long list of sins committed by Sienna over the years, it is exactly in character for her to do something like this. Cleo starts to catch on to such a thing in upcoming scenes, questioning why her medication appears to be having little to no effect. Next week, she speaks to Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe), sharing her theory that Sienna is swapping her psychosis medication for multi-vitamins.

Myra (Nicole Barber-Lane) believes lack of sleep is the reason for Cleo making such claims, but Cleo is determined to get proof. Mercedes, meanwhile, overhears Sienna talking to Warren and demands to know why his ex is helping Sienna. And speaking of Sienna, Cleo confronts her at home, standing up to her in dramatic scenes.

Other Village Developments

Elsewhere in the village, Vicky wakes up from her coma and all eyes are on her for answers as to what happened in the crash. Charlie and Frankie urge her to follow their version of events, which leaves her with a decision to make. Later at the hospital, Frankie visits Vicky and is soon quizzed on why she is wearing makeup. Frankie dismisses her friend's questions.

Frankie, meanwhile, visits Caleb where she admits she will find it weird not seeing him every day with her being discharged soon. Elsewhere, Diane says to Tony that they need to tell Eva about her diagnosis. Tony suggests a holiday to inform Sinead and Finn, as it will allow them to make some memories along the way. Later, Tony arrives home with a wheelchair he has bought for Diane while Ro worries that the holiday will be too much for his mum.

Ste, meanwhile, goes to the garage to drop off the wedding suit for Rex. But as for whether the big wedding will happen remains to be seen as Ro overhears Ste confessing to Leela that he slept with James! Later, the couple find themselves in the shower where it all began, with Cleo desperately trying to reason with Sienna.

The Intense Showdown

With pictures confirming an intense showdown between Cleo and Sienna at Jez's allotment, things take a shocking turn as Sienna comes to the conclusion that Cleo does not love her. Just how will the showdown conclude? Will Cleo get to the truth of the situation? Subsequent scenes see Cleo wake up to find Sienna watching over her, wanting to know if she still loves her. Cleo is adamant there is a way back for them as long as she does what is right. The question is: will Sienna do so? Will she set the record straight? And if so, where does this leave Warren, who has been led to believe that Sophie is to blame for Clare's supposed demise?

Hollyoaks streams Mondays to Wednesdays from 6am on Channel 4's streaming platform, or catch episodes on TV at 7pm on E4.
