Monday, June 15 – Double Episode

Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) checks in with Charity, who masks her breakdown, claiming it’s a case of postnatal depression. She’s furious to learn that Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) has told Sarah of her condition, and medicates with sleeping pills and wine. Sarah tries her hardest to get through to Charity, but when she refuses to open up, Sarah’s left sobbing, blaming the surrogacy for Charity’s fresh agony.

Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) is heartened when Cain promises to attend his swearing in ceremony at cadets, but is crestfallen when his dad misses it after accidentally wetting himself and flees to the Woolpack, leaving Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) and Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) to reassure him. Cain admits all to Kyle later, who reassures him. Later, Cain turns to Moira, worried that his health issues are emasculating him, though she comforts him by declaring that facing his fears is showing his strength.

Kerry and Archie team up to scam Caleb again but are interrupted by Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell), leaving Kerry wracked with guilt, but manages to talk him out of calling the police, noting his own dodgy past. Eric relents, but demands Archie wipe his laptop of any evidence.

Concurrently, Caleb is humiliated to have been scammed and vows revenge on the perpetrator. Kerry is later initially nervous when Ruby Milligan (Beth Cordingly) spots Kerry’s fake designer bag, and Caleb later attempts to rope Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) into a dodgy goods scam, run from the depot.
