Stina Blackstenius has no shortage of good memories in an Arsenal jersey, and after signing a new contract with the club this week, the Swedish striker can now look forward to plenty more.
The 30-year-old, who joined from Swedish side BK Hacken in 2022, has scored 64 goals in 152 games for the Gunners in all competitions. Perhaps the highlight is her late winner in last season's Champions League final victory over Barcelona, which solidified her legend status in N5.
Arsenal are now aiming to defend their European crown and face record-winners Lyon in the semi-final first leg this Sunday at the Emirates. Reflecting on the unforgettable night in Lisbon, Blackstenius told the club's website: "There are so many good memories from the Champions League final. I love scoring for Arsenal, but that one was a big one and something I will never forget."
"That we won the Champions League is something I've always been dreaming about, and it actually came true. It always gives me goosebumps thinking about that day, that game, and the celebrations we had at the Emirates with the supporters. Just so much happiness that day."
"It's one goal, but it meant so much, and that's something I will bring with me forever. I was really happy that I could give something for the team in that moment."
