Saracens Hold Off Exeter in Semi-Final Thriller

Saracens Women booked their place in the Premiership final with a hard-fought 24-20 victory over Exeter Chiefs at StoneX Stadium. The hosts had to withstand a fierce second-half comeback from Exeter, who had trailed 17-0 at half-time.

First Half Dominance

Saracens started the stronger side, with tries from Sarah Gregson and Lotte Clapp giving them a 12-0 lead. Fly-half Zoe Harrison added a penalty to extend the advantage to 15-0, and a further try from prop Hannah Botterman made it 17-0 at the break. Exeter struggled to contain Saracens' driving maul and physicality at the breakdown.

Saracens responded with a try from flanker Marlie Packer, but Exeter hit back again through try-scoring replacement Nancy McGillivray. The conversion made it 24-14.
