Caitlin Clark delivered a historic performance on Friday night, scoring a career-high 45 points and dishing out 10 assists to achieve the first 40-10 game in WNBA history. The Indiana Fever defeated the Seattle Storm 110-107 in a thrilling contest.

Historic Milestones

Clark also became the fastest player in WNBA history to make 200 career three-pointers, reaching the mark in just 74 games. That broke the previous record of 81 games set by Katie Smith. Her 45 points set a new Fever franchise record. In addition to her scoring and assists, Clark contributed four steals and two blocks.

Game Highlights

Kelsey Mitchell added 30 points for the Fever (15-10), and Monique Billings chipped in 16 points. Dominique Malonga led Seattle with 28 points and 14 rebounds, but the Storm (6-21) lost their fourth consecutive game. With 54.9 seconds remaining, Clark hustled back to block a fast-break layup attempt by Flau'jae Johnson, then hit a three-pointer from the left wing to make it 105-102. She made all four of her free throws in the final 17 seconds to secure the win.

First-Half Dominance

Clark scored 10 points during a 12-4 run that culminated in a three-pointer, giving the Fever a 49-32 lead with 7:28 left before halftime. Mitchell scored 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting in the first half, while Clark added five points, five assists, and two steals. Indiana tied their highest-scoring first quarter of the season, taking a 37-26 lead after one period.

Seattle's Efforts

Johnson and Awa Fam each scored 16 points for Seattle, while Natisha Hiedeman and Jade Melbourne contributed 15 points apiece. The Storm have now lost six of their last seven games. Aliyah Boston (leg) did not play for Indiana on the first night of a back-to-back. The Fever previously beat the Storm 89-78 at home on May 17.
