In a dramatic late-night operation, 80 firefighters aboard 12 fire engines have been deployed to tackle a major warehouse fire in Neasden, North London. The blaze, which erupted just before 11:30 PM, has already consumed the roof of an industrial building situated near the North Circular Road (A406). The London Fire Brigade (LFB) confirmed that crews are expected to remain on the scene throughout the night to bring the fire under control.
Firefighting Response
The LFB received 25 calls reporting the fire, prompting a rapid response from multiple stations, including Willesden, Hendon, Finchley, Mill Hill, Wembley, Park Royal, West Hampstead, and Stanmore. A dozen fire engines and approximately 80 firefighters were dispatched to the location, working tirelessly to prevent the flames from spreading to adjacent structures.
Safety Advisories
Due to the significant smoke production, residents and workers in the vicinity are strongly advised to keep all windows and doors closed. The fire brigade has also warned of potential traffic disruptions on the A406 North Circular Road westbound, particularly between the Staples Corner junction and the A4088. Delays may also occur on Waterloo Road as firefighting efforts continue.
This is a developing story. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
