Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) returns to Emmerdale to find his world turned upside down by two unexpected arrivals. In a new spoiler video, Robert is seen confronting his ex-husband Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill) and meeting his cousin Serena Sugden (Casey Al-Shaqsy) for the first time in years.
Robert's Shocking Return
Having been visiting his sister in Portugal with Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), Robert is stunned to discover that Kev is back in the village. Serena offered support, and Charity eventually confided in her. After their conversation, Serena set her GPS for Emmerdale and headed to Emmerdale Farm, where she learned from Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) that Robert was away. Kev's Return and Lewis
Kev, who runs a bakery van, was approached by Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) with news that Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) had been kidnapped. As Lewis's biological father, Kev dropped everything to help. However, he initially hesitated to return a necklace to a woman named Kylie, but ultimately prioritized his son and gave it back. When Lewis returned home, Kev stood up and sang "Father and Son" by Boyzone to reveal his paternity. Overwhelmed, Lewis rejected a relationship. Later, Kev told Ross and Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) that he plans to stay in the village rather than disappear after his revelation.
