British Transport Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to following an alleged upskirting incident at Tottenham Court Road station. The incident occurred on Tuesday, July 14, at approximately 2.15pm, when a passenger noticed a man using a mobile phone in an upward-facing position, attempting to record two young girls.
Passenger intervenes
The observant passenger challenged the man and followed him until he left the station. Officers from the British Transport Police are now appealing for help in identifying the individual, who may have information crucial to the investigation.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "Officers believe the man in the image could have information that may assist their enquiries." Anyone who recognises the man is urged to text BTP on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 321 of 14 July. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
