A man in his 40s was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in a secluded area of West London on Monday evening. Police were called to the Grand Union Canal, near Westbourne Park, at approximately 7:30 pm on November 17 following reports of the violent incident.

Emergency Response and Victim's Condition

Upon arrival, emergency services discovered the victim with a stab wound. The London Ambulance Service had been alerted at 7:31 pm and dispatched significant resources to the scene. An ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars, an incident response officer, and a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance were all sent to assist.

The man was treated at the scene before being taken to a major trauma centre as a priority. Fortunately, his injuries were later assessed and deemed not to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Ongoing Police Investigation

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed they are treating the incident as an attempted robbery. A spokesperson stated that no arrests have been made and enquiries are actively continuing.
