Questions surrounding the energy and stamina of 79-year-old US President Donald Trump have been abruptly countered by a remarkable display of nocturnal online activity. In a single evening, the commander-in-chief unleashed a torrent of 160 posts on his favoured platform, Truth Social, reigniting debate about his capacity for the role.
A Fury of Posts Defies Fatigue Narrative
The social media blitz occurred on the evening of Monday, 27 November 2025. According to a chronicle by the Daily Beast, the barrage began at 7:09 PM Eastern Time and did not cease until 11:57 PM. In less than four hours, Trump averaged more than one post every two minutes, with periods where his output exceeded one message per minute.
This furious spree stands in stark contrast to recent reports depicting a president who sometimes nods off in the Oval Office and commences his official day in the afternoon. The marathon session on Truth Social presented a very different public image: that of an indefatigable, round-the-clock political combatant.
Familiar Targets and Self-Praise in the Digital Storm
The content of the 160 posts followed a familiar pattern for the president, blending vitriolic attacks with unabashed self-congratulation. A host of political adversaries found themselves in the line of fire.
Senator Mark Kelly, a Democrat from Arizona, was singled out. Trump took issue with Kelly and five other congressional Democrats for recently reminding military members of their duty to disobey unlawful commands. "Mark Kelly and the group of Unpatriotic Politicians were WRONG to do what they did," Trump asserted.
The president's digital wrath also extended to California Governor Gavin Newsom, Minnesota figures Tim Walz and Ilhan Omar, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, and former officials James Comey and Eric Holder.
Amid the attacks, self-praise flowed freely. One video, reposted twice, featured Florida congressman Byron Donalds lauding Trump's agenda, accompanied by commentary calling him "the greatest president to ever live". Another post celebrated the festive season with a still from the film *Home Alone 2: Lost in New York*, featuring Trump alongside actor Macaulay Culkin, proclaiming "Christmas is officially great again".
Conspiracy Theories and Repetitive Patterns
The nightly outpouring also served as a conduit for a series of conspiracy theories and disputed claims. One post credited billionaire Elon Musk, referred to by the acronym "Doge", with "saving" the 2024 election by supposedly tracking down and disabling vote-altering machines in Serbia.
Another claimed that Trump's Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, possesses documents "exposing" Barack Obama's leadership in the "Russiagate hoax". The president also reposted the baseless assertion that millions of illegal immigrants have registered and voted in US elections.
A notable feature of the session was its repetitive nature. A majority of the reposts from other accounts appeared twice—first in their original form, then almost immediately again with added commentary from Trump or another user.
After finally retiring after midnight, the president was back online early Tuesday morning, tapping out posts concerning the Georgia governor's election and a congressional race in Tennessee to bolster Republican candidates. He took a moment to praise his digital pulpit, posting, "Truth Social is the best. There is nothing even close!!!" He posted it twice.
The unprecedented volume of posts has firmly shifted the conversation, at least temporarily, from questions of physical stamina to those concerning digital endurance and the unprecedented use of social media by a sitting US president.
