Police have launched an urgent public appeal to identify a man following a sexual assault on an 18-year-old woman in the centre of Andover.
Details of the Assault
The incident occurred on West Street in Andover at around 4pm on October 23. The teenage victim was inappropriately touched and spoken to by an unknown man in the middle of the day.
Hampshire Constabulary has now released a detailed description and an image of a man they urgently wish to speak to in connection with their investigation.
Description of the Suspect
The individual is described as a white male, aged between 30 and 40 years old. He is notably tall, standing at 6 feet 2 inches, and has a skinny build.
His distinguishing features include dark brown hair and a moustache. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a dark puffer jacket, jeans, a distinctive red and white cap, and sunglasses.
Police Appeal for Information
In an official statement, Hampshire Police said: ‘We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.’
