Guardian Corrections: Keegan Tribute Errors Fixed
Guardian Corrections: Keegan Tribute Errors Fixed

The Guardian has issued corrections for errors in a tribute to Kevin Keegan and an obituary. The tribute misstated Newcastle United's league positions during Keegan's playing career. The team finished fifth in Division Two in his first season, not seventh, and were promoted from third place in 1983-84, not as champions. The obituary incorrectly stated that Liverpool won the UEFA Cup in 1974-75 against FC Bruges; the correct year is 1975-76, and the opponent was Club Brugge.

Other Recently Amended Articles

Other articles recently corrected include a piece on Lindsey Graham's death, titled 'Lindsey Graham’s death leaves South Carolina confronting complex legacy: “You loved him and you hated him”', and an article on Australia’s visa price hikes, 'Australia’s “unfair” visa price hikes: what are they, why have they gone up, and why does it matter?'.
