Corrie: Jodie Ramsey exposed as Lily finds trinket box

Jodie Ramsey's reign of terror in Weatherfield is about to come to a dramatic end as her dark secrets are finally exposed, leaving the Platt family reeling. The twisted sister of Shona Platt has been manipulating everyone around her in a sociopathic revenge quest, but next week, her luck runs out.

Jodie's schemes unravel

Jodie, played by Olivia Frances-Brown, has been on a mission to seduce David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) to pay back Shona (Julia Goulding) for abandoning their family years ago. When David rejected her, she moved on to Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), but after he saw her true colors, she returned to Shona, who forgave her. However, Jodie's past caught up with her when Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) discovered her box of stolen trinkets, which included a gun stolen from Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) after a Mexican standoff at the garage.

In a panic, Jodie attacked Sarah from behind on the night Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) was killed, inadvertently giving Sarah, the real murderer, an alibi. Sarah confronted Jodie, but a stalemate ensued as Jodie knew Sarah had lied to the police about the timing of the assault.

Sarah comes clean

In next week's episodes, Sarah finally tells her boyfriend DS Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) that Jodie attacked her. Kit, furious, blabs to Shona, who charges off to confront Jodie. Later, David and Shona visit Sarah, who reveals everything about Jodie's trinket box. But the Platts aren't the ones to find it—their daughter Lily (Grace Ashford-Gardner) does.

While David and Shona are in bed, Lily tiptoes downstairs to get her console, reaches under the sofa, and pulls out Jodie's trinket box. What will she find—the gun or something worse? The discovery threatens to expose Jodie's crimes for good, leaving the bunny-boiling baddie with nowhere to run.
