Ben Price Praises Jude Riordan
Actor Ben Price praised Jude Riordan's performance in the storyline, saying: 'Selfishly, I want him to be brilliant, and he is brilliant. When you’re with someone who’s discovering that power as an actor, in an adult story, it’s really amazing to watch. He is really, really good and such a nice young lad as well.'
Price added: 'Super level, super diligent, but also, he’s got a bit of a Platt about him. It’s been really lovely for me. I get to work with a really good actor, and it makes me better.'
Background of Sam's Ordeal
Sam's breakdown stemmed from being manipulated by Megan Walsh, a local school teacher who took advantage of him. After Sam exposed the abuse to Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), he began hallucinating Will Driscoll, believing Will was out to get him. The hallucinations later shifted to Roy Cropper, culminating in an incident at the cafe where Sam fled and was found by Carla Connor-Swain (Alison King), who recognized signs of psychosis from her own experience.
