Videos from half-time show fans setting off fireworks and flares while standing on bannisters waving flags. Swarms of people ran through the street as explosives were lit, causing major traffic delays as cars came to a standstill.

Police response and injuries

Metropolitan Police officers in riot gear with shields were deployed to disperse the crowds. In one clip, an officer is seen on the ground as other emergency workers attend to them.
