Prince Harry Reveals Son Archie's Surprisingly Ordinary Favorite Toy
Prince Harry Shares Archie's Favorite Toy: Lego

Prince Harry shared a rare personal detail about his seven-year-old son Prince Archie during a visit to Birmingham Children's Hospital earlier this week, revealing that the young royal is 'obsessed with Lego' and a 'master builder.'

Royal Visit Marks WellChild Anniversary

The 41-year-old royal was warmly greeted by staff at the hospital as he celebrated two decades of WellChild's specialist nursing programme. Harry took a moment to pose for a group photo with around twelve nurses and engaged in conversation with a young patient, 12-year-old Alec Hill, and his parents.

During the meeting, Harry offered a glimpse into his own family life, sharing the sweet detail about Archie's hobby. 'Do you know who's obsessed with Lego? My son Archie and he's a master builder,' Harry remarked.

Children's Travel Plans and Security Concerns

Prince Archie and his younger sister, five-year-old Princess Lilibet, had previously been confirmed to be travelling to the UK with their parents. However, following the rejection of Harry's request for police protection, he ultimately made the trip without his family. According to reports from the Express, despite the security controversy, Harry may be planning to bring his children to visit their paternal grandfather, King Charles, at some point this week.

Archie and Lilibet have not visited the UK since 2022, when they attended the celebrations marking the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee. That visit is also believed to have been the last occasion on which King Charles saw his two youngest grandchildren.

Tribute to Healthcare Workers

Addressing a gathering of WellChild executives, nursing staff, and families, Harry paid tribute to the ever-increasing pressures shouldered by healthcare professionals. 'I don't know if you hear it enough, the difference that you make every single day is quite literally changing daily lives,' he said.

He continued: 'I understand, and we understand, that becomes harder every week with cuts and financial difficulties just the insanity that seems to be circulating, not just in this country but in general.'
