Lancashire Police have released images of two men they want to speak to in connection with a racist abuse and assault incident on Blackpool's South Pier Promenade. The alleged attack occurred at around 6:11pm on Friday, May 29, when two men reportedly racially abused a woman, made threats of violence, and pushed her down a set of stairs at the beach.
Police appeal for public help
Officers have been conducting enquiries since the incident was reported and are now turning to the public for assistance. In a statement issued on June 22, a force spokesperson said: “Do you recognise these men? We want to speak to them in connection with our investigation into racist abuse and an assault.” The spokesperson added: “At 6:11pm on Friday 29th May we were called to reports of racist abuse and assault on South Pier Promenade, Blackpool. It was reported that two men racially abused a woman, made threats of violence, and pushed her down the stairs at the beach.”

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage to come forward. They can call 101 quoting log 1207 of 29th May. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities hope the public appeal will help identify the suspects.
